Job Title: Senior Compensation Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL (Fulton Market office), with occasional travel to Franklin Park
Schedule:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, standard business hours
- Work Model: Hybrid (onsite 3 days per week; onsite 5 days per week for the first 30-60 days for training)
Role Summary:
This Senior Compensation Analyst role supports the design, implementation, and management of compensation structures, with a focus on salary benchmarking, pay equity, market pricing, and compensation program compliance. The position is primarily an individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, inclusive environment that values diversity and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct salary benchmarking, market pricing, and pay equity assessments to ensure competitive, fair, and transparent compensation practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain wage structures, incentives, and reward programs in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform job evaluations across all levels, including non-exempt, exempt, managerial, and executive roles.
- Support the annual compensation benchmarking cycle by analyzing market data, assessing industry trends, and recommending adjustments to maintain competitive pay structures.
- Lead the annual merit increase process, collaborating with compensation planners, developing budget scenarios, and managing the HR system’s compensation module configuration.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and department managers during the offer process to provide insights on compensation.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and administer reward and recognition programs that align with company goals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and graphical summaries for leadership reviews on compensation initiatives.
- Support change management and communication efforts to enhance understanding of compensation programs across the organization.
- Participate in compensation surveys to ensure the organization’s compensation remains competitive.
- Stay informed on compensation-related laws, regulations, and prevailing industry practices to ensure compliance and best practices are maintained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compensation analysis, including expertise in salary benchmarking, pay equity, and base pay administration.
- Proficiency in Excel, with experience in using formulas and tables.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Clear, professional communication skills, fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.

Compensation:
- Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000
- Benefits: Comprehensive package (no additional bonus)
